Pianist Jeffrey Chappell will perform in a program of piano solo and chamber music combined with readings by notable authors, including M.T. Anderson, from Shakespeare, Yeats, and contemporary literature. The composers include Erik Satie, George Crumb, Thelonious Monk, Felix Mendelssohn, and Otto Muller. All of the musical repertoire is linked with midsummer, midnight, or A Midsummer Night’s Dream in some way.
